How To Find Us

Below is a map of the surrounding area with an arrow marking the approximate loacation of the Snowdonia holiday cottage. It's approximately five-six miles from the town of Dolgellau, just off the A494. Indeed, it is the A494 from which access is found.

Travelling from the south, take the A494 road north From Dolgellau towards the market town of Bala. After 6 miles you will see our 'egg stall' on the right hand side of the road.

This is where we offer for sale free-range eggs from our farm. Within 100 meters of the stall you will see a lay-by on the left and the access road to our farm and the cottage is just at the end of the lay-by; it is marked with a cul-de-sac sign post.

Proceed up the road/track and the farm Penardwnion Fawr is found approximately 800 meters up the single-track road.

Travelling from the north, take the A494 road south From Bala toward the town of Dolgellau. After 13 miles from Bala, pass through the tiny village of Rhydymain.

Carry on towards Dolgellau and take the second turning on the right after passing through Rhydymain. The first turning is sign-posted for Aran Hall School; the second turning right to the holiday cottage is positioned immediately after the bridge on a sharp bend, so care has to taken when preparing yourself for the turning.

Proceed up the road/track and the farm Penardwnion Fawr is approximately 800 meters up the single-track road.
